Great job guys! I like the "full page" format. The story continues to intrigue me.
I get the feeling that you guys know your pirate lore. Have you done a lot of research in preperation for this?
Have you gotten together to make any plans about the story or are each of you totally winging it with each installment?
Brilliant Armand! Layout, story, drawings... it has it all, and it's done very well. Good luck Marcelo! Bring on the Invincible Spanish Armada!

I remember when comic books where everywhere. When ever I got sick my dad would bring me sprite and a few comic books from the local drug store or quick mart. Today you can't find comics at local stores, wal-marts or anywhere but comic specialty shops. What a shame!

Dear Rickart,
We apologize for not responding to you right away. To answer your first question, yes and no. We all decided to do pirates because it's something that all three of us are fascinated and familiar with while growing up (the other choices were world war 2 and science fiction). But at the same time, we still do some research to find more interesting stuff that we may have missed and for accuracy.
For the second question, yes we did plan for the main story. But on how the sequences of the story will progress, we try to sit down during lunch every Tuesday and talk about how each one will carry the story to the next page. But of course, we give the decision to whoever is doing the page for that week to surprise us on how he's going to execute the page. We never see each others drawings until it gets posted. We're definitely having lots of fun with this. It's a great practice in layout, storytelling, rendering and teamwork. Thanks and keep visiting.
